Newly registered provider
Once you become a registered provider, following your successful registration visit from Ofsted, you will be offered non-chargeable advice and support from Shropshire's Early Years' Team:
- The Early Years' Funding Team
You will receive a welcome email from the Early Years' Funding Team, inviting to complete a number of
forms, so the Funding Team can set you to receive early years' funding:
Early Years Funding | Shropshire Learning Gateway
A second email will be sent, with details and information on how to access The Portal to submit
termly headcounts, along with an invitation to join the Early Years and Childcare Teams' site.
- Quality Improvement Learning Co-ordinator
During the first term of becoming a registered provider, you will be contacted by the Quality
Improvement Learning Co-ordinator to arrange a visit to look at the provision for Learning and
Development, offered in your setting.
- Childcare Sufficiency Development Officer
If you have received a capital grant from Shropshire Council, you will also have a visit from Dan Steele
(Childcare Sufficiency Development Officer).
- Safeguarding Officer (Early Years)
During the second term, you will be contacted by Charlotte Percival (Safeguarding Officer for Early
Years, to arrange a visit to review Safeguarding within your setting.
- Education Quality Adviser - SEND and Alternative Provision (Early Years)
During the third term, you will be contacted by Heidi White (Education Quality Adviser), to arrange a
visit to review the SEND provision in your setting.
